Description
English: Order Of Saint George. Reinstated on 8 August 2000 after its abolition in 1917, the Order Of Saint George is the supreme military order of Russia, awarded to officers for brilliant military operations. It has four degrees (I through IV, the first being the highest) awarded successively. Persons awarded Classes III and IV wear only the cross, while classes I and II wear both the cross and the star.
