English: Monument honoring George C. Childress, principal author of the Texas Declaration of Independence, at Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site in Washington, Texas, United States. Sculptor Raoul Josset created the monument for the 1936 Texas Centennial. Photograph by J. Williams (Mar. 29, 2003).
