Description
Deutsch: Ansatz einer Klassifikation fotografischer Genre. Hauptaugenmerk sind die Beziehungen der Genre untereinander sowie eine grundsätzliche Aufteilung in motivbezogene Genre und übergeordnete/technische Genre.

Blaue Boxen: Motivbezogene Genre (dunkelblau: Hauptgenre, hellblau: spezifische, weniger bekannte Genre), gelbe/orange Boxen: übergeordnete und technikbezogene Genre (orange: universelle Genre mit Beziehung zu fast jedem anderen Fotogenre).

Durchgezogene Pfeile: Untergenre (Subgenre, Teilmenge). Gestrichelte Pfeile: Genre mit Bezug zum übergeordneten Genre, aber kein direktes Untergenre. Punktierte Pfeile: Beziehung zwischen motivbezogenen und übergeordneten Genre.

Es wurden nur wesentliche Beziehungen und die wichtigsten Genre eingetragen. Die Beziehungen zwischen orange dargestellten Genre und anderen Genre (universelle Genre) wurden der Übersicht halber nicht eingetragen. Die Übersicht ist nur als Ansatz zu verstehen, da viele Genre sehr unscharf definiert sind bzw. sich nur schwer abgrenzen lassen.
