Summary[edit]

Description
English: Bronze equestrian statue of General Sir Redvers Buller by Adrian Jones, 1905. Buller was born in Crediton, Devon in 1859 and died there at the family seat, Downes House, in 1908. See his biography at Redvers_Henry_Buller. This statue is at the junction of New North Road and Hele Road. The side inscription reads: "REDVERS BULLER, VC, GCB, GCMG, OF DOWNES". The end inscription reads: "INDIA CHINA CANADA ASHANTI EGYPT SOUDAN SOUTH AFRICA HE SAVED NATAL"
