Русский: Данная карта 1823 года, на которой изображена территория Грузии, входит в "Географический атлас Российской империи, Царства Польского и Великого княжества Финляндского", в котором собрана 61 карта Российской империи. Атлас был составлен и отпечатан полковником В. П. Пядышевым; он является свидетельством того, насколько тщательно и подробно составлялись карты русскими военными картографами первой четверти XIX века. На карте показаны крупнейшие города (семь типов в зависимости от размеров города), крепости, цитадели и форты, монастыри и пустыни, заводы и фабрики, почтовые дворы и станции, дороги (три типа) и границы (государственные и границы провинций). Расстояния указаны в верстах – верста являлась русской единицей измерения длины, равной 1,0668 км, которая к настоящему времени вышла из употребления. Условные обозначения и географические названия приведены на русском и французском языках. Изображенная территория в общих чертах соответствует территории современной Грузии.
Français : Cette carte de 1823 de la Géorgie est issue de travaux plus importants, L'Atlas géographique de l'Empire russe, du Royaume de Pologne, et du Grand-Duché de Finlande (Geograficheskii atlas Rossiiskoi imperii, tsarstva Pol'skogo i Velikogo kniazhestva Finliandskogo), contenant 61 cartes de l'Empire russe. Compilée et gravée par le colonel V.P. Piadyshev, elle reflète la cartographie détaillée effectuée par les cartographes militaires russes au cours du premier quart du 19ème siècle. La carte montre les centres de population (sept gradations par taille), les forteresses, les redoutes et les forts, les monastères et les déserts, les plantes et les usines, les relais et stations de poste, les routes (trois types), et les frontières (des États et des provinces). Les distances sont indiquées en verstes, une unité de mesure russe, qui n'est plus utilisée, égale à 1,0668 kilomètre. Les légendes et les noms de lieux sont en russe et en français. English: This 1823 map of Georgia is from a larger work, Geographical Atlas of the Russian Empire, the Kingdom of Poland, and the Grand Duchy of Finland (Geograficheskii atlas Rossiiskoi imperii, tsarstva Pol'skogo i velikogo kniazhestva Finliandskogo), containing 61 maps of the Russian Empire. Compiled and engraved by Colonel V.P. Piadyshev, it reflects the detailed mapping carried out by Russian military cartographers in the first quarter of the 19th century. The map shows population centers (seven gradations by size), fortresses, redoubts and forts, monasteries and deserts, plants and factories, postal courtyards and stations, roads (three types), and borders (state and provincial). Distances are shown in versts, a Russian measure, now no longer used, equal to 1.0668 kilometers. Legends and place names are in Russian and French. The territory depicted on the map roughly corresponds to that of present-day Georgia.

Português: Este mapa da Geórgia, de 1823, faz parte de um trabalho maior, o Atlas Geográfico do Império Russo, do Reino da Polônia e do Grão Ducado da Finlânda (Geograficheskii atlas Rossiiskoi imperii, tsarstva Pol'skogo i velikogo kniazhestva Finliandskogo), contendo 61 mapas do Império Russo. Compilado e gravado pelo Coronel V.P. Piadyshev, reflete o mapeamento detalhado realizado por cartógrafos militares russos no primeiro trimestre do século XIX. O mapa mostra centros populacionais (sete gradações por tamanho), fortalezas, pequenos fortes, monastérios e desertos, indústrias e fábricas, depósitos postais e estações, estradas (três tipos) e fronteiras (provinciais e estaduais).
