Deutsch: Beschreibung aus Karl Woermanns Galeriekatalog 1887: Eine Landschaft mit wilden Tieren. Rechts unter der bewaldeten Anhöhe säugt eine Tigerin ihre Jungen, während der Tiger, weiter oben, aus dem Walde einen Hasen in seinem Rachen herbeiträgt. In der Mitte schleicht ein Löwe. Vorn liegt ein Tierschädel. Links im Hintergrund verfolgt eine Jagdgesellschaft einen Löwen. Leinwand; h. 2,00½ m; br. 3,69½ m
