Description
Afrikaans: Die historiese slagveld naby Kub, Namibië, het betrekking op 'n konflik tydens die "Opstand van die Herero en Nama". Dit is hoe daar verwys is na die koloniale oorlog tussen Duitse troepe en die Herero- en Nama-volkere in Duitswes-Afrika (vandag Namibië) in die jare 1904 tot 1908. Ná die onderdrukking van die werklike opstand het dit uitgeloop op 'n volksmoord deur die Duitse koloniale mag, wat geskiedkundig beskou word as die eerste volksmoord van die 19de eeu. Die Nama-opstand het van 1904 tot 1906 geduur, en die foto is in 2010 geneem. In Berlyn-Karlshorst het die benaming "Kubstraat" van 1900 tot 1929 gedien as herinnering aan Kub, wat die plek sou word van die geveg teen die Hereros.
Deutsch: Historisches Gefechtsfeld bei Kub / Namibia und der Aufstand der Herero und Nama. So bezeichnet man den Kolonialkrieg zwischen den deutschen Truppen und den Völkern der Herero und Nama in Deutsch-Südwestafrika (dem heutigen Namibia) während der Jahre 1904 bis 1908. Nach der Niederschlagung des eigentlichen Aufstandes mündete er in einen Völkermord durch die deutsche Kolonialmacht, der in der Wissenschaft als erster Völkermord des 20. Jahrhunderts NAMA Aufstand von 1904 bis 1906; Foto von 2010. In Berlin-Karlshorst erinnerte von 1914-1929 die Namensgebung der Kuber Straße an den Ort KUB als den Ort der Schlacht gegen die Hereros.
