Description Gedenkstein auf der Gemarkung Merzhausen an der Grenze zu Freiburg-Günterstal: Dem verdienstvollen Mitbürger Stadtrat Karl Walterspiel seinem Gründer u. erster Vorstand von 1875-1901. Der Lokalverein Wiehre
Am 11. Juni 1921 erfolgte der Kauf des Grundstücks auf der Bodeslau durch die Stadt Freiburg auf Wunsch des Lokalvereins Wiehre und schließt die Verpflichtung zur Pflege des Denkmals durch die Stadt mit ein.
