Description
English: Photograph of G. A. Geary, a well known Bedfordshire photographer, with his bicycle (an early example of a safety bicycle) in 1890. Also shown is the original receipt for the cycle. This is in the stores of Bedford Museum and the actual bike was on display at their "Clocking In" exhibition in 2010.

The photograph included was taken for Mr. Geary in 1890, but the identity of the actual photogrpher is not stated and unknown to the current holders of the work. So it is reasonable to assume that the work is in fact anonymous.
