Son art a des viséesplus hautes; il sélève au-dessus de la nature, et la contemple dansune sorte de mirage à travers les brumes que des siècles dhistoireet de poésie ont accumulées au-dessus delle. A ces hauteurs, on naplus la vision bien nette; ceux-là seuls voient dont lesprit estilluminé par la pensée, ce mystérieux foyer qualimentent lessouvenirs.
