Summary[edit]

Description Gartersnake after it regurgitated the newt. The snake was a bit “green around the gills” for a while, then seemed to be fine. Many gartersnakes are immune to the toxicity of newts but this one didn’t appear to be all that interested in keeping it down. At Sunol Regional Wilderness, Alameda County, March 5, 2015
