Description
English: An intimate study of Mahatma Gandhi, the Indian leader, taken at sea during the voyage from India to London to attend the round table conference, aboard the S.S. Rajputana. His secretaries are taking dictation from Gandhi, who used the covered hold as his quarters. The woman is Miss Madeline Slade, daughter of an English admiral, who is a keen disciple of Gandhi and who prefers to be known as "Mira Bey".
