Italiano: Lo strumento è costituito da un cilindro in ottone appoggiato solidalmente a una base in legno a sezione circolare; questa, a sua volta, è collocata su una base, anch'essa in legno, a sezione quadrata All'interno del cilindro è montato un apparato elettromagnetico parzialmente visibile attraverso una piccola finestrella ricavata sulla parete del cilindro e coperta da un vetro. Da qui era possibile osservare lo spostamento dell'equipaggio mobile posizionato nel centro dello strumento e effettuare la misura Sulla base sono presenti due morsetti in legno e ottone per i collegamenti elettrici al circuito da misurare.
