Summary[edit]

Description
English: Gall Moss of Dirneark The name "Gall" suggests there may have been a standing stone on this stretch of moor at one time, but there is no trace of it now. "Dirneark" means the burn of the pigs. The hill in the far distance is Cairnsmore of Fleet.
