Summary[edit]
DescriptionGalaxies Of Mirach (48239658462).jpg |
Two of our largest galactic neighbors, the Andromeda Galaxy (M31) and the Triangulum Galaxy (M33) framed up nicely with the wide FoV provided by my new 50mm f/1.8 lens. Lens does not have a flat field unfortunately leading to a gnarly coma effect towards the edge of the image. It also turns some stars green for some reason, but thankfully this is easily fixable with SCNR or HLVG. Gear Used: Camera - Canon EOS 350D Lens - Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM Mount - Nyxtech NyxTracker V2 Aquisition: Aperture - f/2.5 ISO-1600 37x30" sub exposures ~18min total integration time Software Used: Adobe Photoshop Deep Sky Stacker Pixinsight 1.8 |
