Description

Ramsons (Allium ursinum) aka Wild Garlic, on the roadside at Rusling End, Hertfordshire. I have smelt this in the wild a few times this year but hadn't managed to see any other than here so far. I would have liked more time to get better photos but I was leading the walk and people were moving ahead of me. This was probably the best of the four photos I took.

Hertfordshire GOC's 11 May 2013 walk, which was a circular walk starting in st Paul's Walden and visiting Whitwell, Rusling End, Langley, Chapelfoot and Hitch Wood.
