Description
English: Commemorative plaque to Mr. Árpád Göncz (1922–2015) Attila József-award winner Hungarian writer, literary translator and politician, President of Hungary from 1990 to 2000, freeman of the 3rd district of Budapest. It is affixed on the building front in Óbuda where he lived between 1947 and 1990 and where he was arrested May 23, 1957 due to his role in the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. The plaque was unveiled May 23, 2016. (Budapest, District III, Bécsi Street Nr 88-90)

Árpád Göncz (1922–2015) écrivain, traducteur littéraire lauréate de Prix Attila József et homme politique hongrois, président de la République de 1990 à 2000, citoyen d'honneur du 3e arrondissement de Budapest. Elle est apposée sur le front du bâtiment à Óbuda où il habitait entre 1947 et 1990 et où il a été arrêté le 23 mai 1957 en raison de son rôle dans la révolution de 1956. La plaque a été dévoilée le 23 mai 2016. (88-90 rue Bécsi, Budapest, 3e arr.)
