- かつての「二子三業組合」が町内に建てた街灯柱が、今も町内を明るく照らしている。

付記：
- 二子橋架橋以降、この辺りがいわゆる「三業地」（料理屋・芸者屋・待合茶屋が営業する地域）として賑わい、その賑わった芸者さん達の組合が、近隣に電灯を立ててくれた名残と思われる。
- これらの街灯柱は、当時集落があった場所のほぼ全域（大山街道沿い以外）に建てられており、よく見るとすっかり錆びが出ている柱に対し、蛍光灯部分のみが比較的新しい。おそらく蛍光灯はおろか電柱なども建っていなかった時代に、高価であったろう街灯柱を各地に立て、電球を取り付け、街灯を灯すことで町に恩を返したのであろうか。
- なお、ここ二子神社には、かつて二子三業組合が講をもち、花柳界から信仰を集めたといわれる「二子の出世稲荷」を祀る祠が併設されている。
