Description
English: The funeral of the partisans of the Asiago plateau were celebrated on May 29, 1945. The partisans parade with the coffins on their shoulders at Asiago.

The liberation of the Asiago plateau takes place between 27 and 29 April 1945. The partisans blocked access to the plateau to the retiring German columns. They free all the inhabited centers before the arrival of the Allies. At the first lights of the dawn of 28 the Germans leave Asiago. The Command of the Brigate Group "7 Communes" is installed at the hotel "Croce Bianca".

On May 4, 1945 an English patrol asked to be escorted to Lavarone by the partisans of the Seven Communes, disarming the Germans along the road, but in Vattaro they fall into a German ambush in which seven partisans die. Francesco Urbani "Pat" and Giulio Vescovi " Leo "remain injured but manage to save themselves, it is the last episode of liberation in the Vicenza area.

La Liberazione dell'altopiano di Asiago avviene tra il 27 ed il 29 aprile del 1945, i partigiani bloccarono l'accesso all'altipiano alle colonne tedesche in ritirata e liberano tutti i centri abitati prima dell'arrivo degli Alleati. Alle prime luci dell’alba del 28 i tedeschi partono da Asiago, il Comando del Gruppo Brigate “7 Comuni” si installa all’Albergo “Croce Bianca”. Il 4 maggio 1945 una pattuglia inglese chiede di essere scortata verso Lavarone dai partigiani della Settecomuni, si procede a disarmare i tedeschi lungo la strada ma a Vattaro cadono in un imboscata tedesca in cui muoiono sette partigiani. Francesco Urbani “Pat” e Giulio Vescovi "Leo" rimangono feriti ma riescono a salvarsi, è l'ultimo episodio della liberazione nel vicentino.
