Français : Il a été signalé au moins deux "timbres" avec un grande surcharge noire ou rouge à 50 xu (Michel Nord-Annam No I). Ces "timbres" sont inconnus sur lettre. De plus la surcharge est réalisée sur des timbres d'Indochine (sans surcharge de la VNDCCH en 1946) qui étaient épuisés depuis bien longtemps en 1947, date à laquelle correspond le tarif de 50 xu. De plus, la règle était de ne pas surcharger du mot "VIETNAM" les timbres à l'effigie des monarques du Laos et du Cambodge par respect pour ceux-ci. La plus grande prudence est donc recommandée dans l'achat de ces "timbres".
