Summary[edit]

Description
English: Raft Rooter is the first deep water culture plant propagation device to use floating technology. The company was founded in California in 2007 and the Raft Rooter is available world wide at http://www.raftrooter.com. This device is used largely by nurseries for propagating genetically identical plants from a mother plant. The process takes anywhere from 7-14 days to produce roots on a plant cutting, eliminating the need for producing and germinating seeds. Plant clones are beneficial to the agricultural community because of the uniformity of size, structure, yield and quality of the final products.
