Exhibition history
Español: Pasó de su ubicación original, en el claustro del Convento de Santo Domingo de La Guardia de Jaén, a la Plaza de Isabel II en 1566 cuando el señor de la villa (Gonzalo Mesía Carrillo) se hizo con el marquesado. En los años 1980, la fuente fue regalada al Instituto de Estudios Giennenses en agradecimiento a su trabajo en la localidad, con la condición de que fuera emplazada en su ubicación actual, el patio de la Diputación Provincial.
