| Description |
English: To evaluate genetic differentiation among different regions in Japan, a measure of genetic differentiation, Fst, between each pair of subpopulations at each SNP site was estimated, and average Fst values over all the autosomes were calculated. There is a remarkable genetic differentiation between Okinawa and other regions in Japan. The Fst values between Okinawa and the regions in Hondo were 0.00282–0.00352, whereas those for pairs of subpopulations in Hondo were much smaller (0.00023–0.00077).
