Summary[edit]

Description
English: The artwork Fructidor from Ian Hamilton Finlay refers to the ten days of the third week of Fructidor, the "month of fruit", in the republican calendar. The image shows the artwork including the original socket from the exhibition where it was displayed, placed in a private garden near Munich/Germany. The exhibition East Of Eden had been open to the public from 18th June to 18th September 1994 around Mosigkau Castle in East Germany.
