Summary

[edit]
Description

Climate change induced degradation of land could be the inheritance of inaction regarding climate change. This picture shows the quick process of land degradation near Kosh Agach village, Altai region, Russia. Dangerous wind and water erosion of land requires urgent measures on adaptation, specifically through aforestation and forest belts planting in this area, which is the aim of a USAID-funded project in this area.
