Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: From the car-park at Bigbury on Sea. There is a large car-park above the beach at Bigbury, a very popular beach on the south Devon coast. This gives fine views of Burgh Island which is mainly in the featured square. The sea tractor used to carry people over to the island when the tide is in can be seen at the far end of the sand "causeway". In this view the tide has just cleared the footpath across to the island and you can see people walking across, (compare to 910822). |
