Description
Deutsch: Der Alte Friedhof in Freiburg im Breisgau:

St. Ida.

Grabmal der Ida Leis geb. Gehri, † 1860 und des Ferdinand Gehri, † 1861 gewidmet von der Witwe Gehri und Alois Leis.

Ida gilt bis heute bei Katholiken vor allem als Schutzpatronin der Schwangeren, Armen und Schwachen.

Der Alte Friedhof wurde nach seiner Stilllegung zur Parkanlage umgewidmet. Fast über zwei Jahrhunderte lang, von 1683 bis 1872, wurden hier die Freiburger Verstorbenen beigesetzt. Er ist vom Denkmalschutz als Kultur- und auch als Naturdenkmal eingestuft.
