Description
English: In the southern Norwegian town Kristiansand, the municipality provides a free ice skating rink on the town square, as well as ice skates to let for free. This is very popular. The statue to the right is King Haakon VII of Norway
Norsk bokmål: Isbanen "Kompis" på Øvre Torv i Kristiansand er populær for små og store. Strømregninga for isbanen betales av kommunekassa, og isbanen driftes av Parkvesenet hver vinter. Bildet er fra januar 2023 da strømmen var dyr, men kommunen prioriterte likevel å drifte isbanen som et lavterskel inkluderende fritidstilbud. Kommunen har også en ordning med gratis utlån av skøyter. Statuen til høyre er av kong Haakon VII.
