Description
English: Interior facade of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari. Senator Girolamo Garzoni died during the siege of Negroponte in 1688, his brothers Pietro Marino and got the privilege of erecting the monument of their brother above the front door of the basilica. At the center of the monument, the statue of Senator crowned by an angel, above, these arms at the base of a black marble obelisk.
Français : La contre façade de la Basilique Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari. Le sénateur Girolamo Garzoni est mort durant le siège de Negroponte en 1688, ses frères Marino et Pietro ont obtenu le privilège de faire ériger le monument funéraire de leur frère au dessus de la porte d'entrée de la basilique. Au centre du monument la statue du sénateur couronné par un ange, au dessus, ces armoiries à la base d'un obélisque en marbre noir.
Italiano: La contro-facciata della Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari. Il senatore Girolamo Garzoni è morto durante l'assedio di Negroponte nel 1688, i sui fratelli Pietro e Marino, ha ottenuto il privilegio di erigere il monumento del loro fratello sopra la porta d'ingresso della basilica. Al centro del monumento, la statua del senatore coronata da un angelo. Sopra sono rappresentate le stemmi, alla base di un obelisco di marmo nero.
