English: In the photograph, we can see some of the most prominent members of the first Madero cabinet (1911-12): Manuel Vazquez Tagle (Minister of Justice), Manuel Calero (Minister of Foreign Affairs) Abraham González (Minister of the Interior) and Rafel Hernández (Minister of Commerce).

The Yucatan State Legislature had just accepted the resignation of José María Pino Suárez (hitherto Governor of Yucatán) who had just been elected vice president of the Republic. On the morning of November 23, he arrives at the Chamber of Deputies, where he swore the oath of office.

After the ceremony, Mr. Pino Suárez, went to the National Palace and was introduced into the Ambassadorial Reception Room by Commodore Hilario Rodríguez Malpica and Major López Figueroa; therein, Francisco I. Madero stood ready to receive him and introduce him to the Cabinet members.
