Manuscript letter

Archives Number: 1011/002.001-018#053

Dear Tom,
We leave here tomorrow morning at 7, and intend taking the sea route so as to reach Nahant to dinner from Lynn where we wish to remain some days if we can get rooms. I wish very much you would join us there tomorrow night if you are any where in that neighborhood, & stay if we do I should be so glad of you as cavalier when Henry is in Cambridge where he must be every other day, tho’ he can [p. 2] return at night.
I have not written to you, not knowing where to send my letter but thank you for yours. I have one written to Mary which I shall bring along with me not seeing in the paper any vessel sailing at present.
In great haste
Yrs affly
