Summary[edit]

Description
English: The majority of the Romanesque exhibits at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC) in Barcelona consists of frescoes meticulously transferred from churches around Catalonia and transferred to canvas. Because so many of these were originally frescoed onto curved apses and the like, the canvas needs to be in the form of the original church wall. This is a rear view, showing typical frameworks for these canvasses.
