فارسی: نمایی از آب‌نمای میدان دیزنگوف در تل‌آویو.
آبنما یکی از اجزای معماری ایرانی به ویژه در طرح باغ ایرانی بوده‌است. آبنماها در شهرها نمادی از رودها و چشمه سارها و نهرهای روان در دل دشت‌ها و جنگل‌ها و بیابان‌ها هستند، همچنین آبنماها با ایجاد چشم‌اندازی زیبا و دل‌انگیز همراه با آوای خوش فراز و فرود مایع زندگی انسان (آب) می‌توانند در یک لحظه تمام رفتارهای بد روانی را از دل و جان شهروندان و رهگذران زدوده و به جای آن سرخوشی و شور و هیجان و شادی و آرامش را جایگزین خشم و اندوه و نگرانی و دلواپسی شهروندان و رهگذران نمایند، (عکس مربوط به چیدمان داخلی (آب نماها) در یک مجتمع گردشگری تفریحی در شهر تهران است).
