Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Fountainhall Doocot. Two lectern doocots are located 100m south of Penkaet Castle (also known as Fountainhall). This doocot, to the East, is 17th century and was provided with a twin in the 18th century with a suggestion that they flanked an approach to the castle. Today they are joined by a low cartshed. Both doocots are roofless and this 17th century one is in a slightly less ruinous condition and still has a number of nests on the walls as can be seen.
