Summary[edit]

Description
English: Fountain of 1877 by Mintons, made in Stoke-on-Trent for the Paris International Exhibition of 1878 where it was the centre piece of Mintons display, Created in painted earthenware with coloured clays using Minton's own 'Henry Deux' technique, the fountain was reassembled in 2005 from several locations for display in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. Museum no. C.69-1997.
