Summary

[edit]
Description
English: On a hot summer day in July 2022, a man enjoys a relaxing respite by the fountain at Burke's Green in the tony Central Park district of Buffalo, New York. A triangular verdant oasis bounded by Depew, Beard, and Wesley Avenues, the park dates to the earliest days of the neighborhood: it was donated to the city by developer Lewis Bennett and later named in honor of F. Brendan Burke, a local businessman, philanthropist and civic figure.
