Summary[edit]

Description
English: View at the external side of a right valve of the ostracod Fossilyocypris Schornikov & Krstić, 2004. Length of shell = 0.8 mm. Scanning electron micrograph. The specimen was collected at the lakeside of Hamun-e-Puzak, Seistan, SW Afghanistan in 1971. Presumably, it had been redeposited from the Neogene sediments forming a cliff nearby.
