Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Part of the former All Hallows parish church, Copperfield Street, Southwark, London SE1, seen from the northwest from Pepper Street. The church was designed by GG Scott Junior and built 1880–92. It was severely damaged in the Second World War. The north aisle was restored after 1956 to seat 150 people, and the churchyard given over as a public open space. The church ceased to be used for worship in 1971 but is still consecrated. Uses since closure have included a recording studio and charity offices but it is currently vacant. (http://southwark.anglican.org/downloads/lostchurches/SOU11.pdf)
