| Description |
English: Ford, byway and the Afon Tywi south of Moel Prysgau (hill) The river is flowing very gently following around two weeks with no rain. It can be a severe (and hazardous) torrent, so common sense MUST be exercised when attempting this route, which is a former drovers' road from Strata Florida to Abergwesyn (joining the Tregaron route about two and a half miles south of here).
This byway (nominally "open to all traffic") re-fords the river a few hundred metres further on near Moel Prysgau (building). |
