English: A Versa Bagger ID 1014, a forage bagging system, at World Ag Expo 2011. Truck dumps forage into the front of the machine and a 12' diameter plastic tube (silo bag) filled with the forage comes out from the rear. The operator (who sits in the white cab on the right of the picture) controls the Internal Density of the feed being stored and the pressure of the stored feed pushes the bagger forward as the unloading truck slowly drives forward at the same pace. Long plastic tubes of forage are left in the bag for fermentation and when ready, will be fed out of the bag. |
