Summary[edit]

Description

A fly wheel recovered from the CSS Georgia. As part of the mechanized phase of the CSS Georgia’s recovery, archaeologists are using a five-finger style grapple to raise large clumps of the remaining artifacts from the bottom of the Savannah River.
