Description
Deutsch: Die Wohnhausanlage an der Adresse Leopoldauer Straße 79-81 im 21. Wiener Bezirk Floridsdorf.
Die Wohnhausanlage in der Form eines Vierkanthofes und mit einem begrünten Innenhof hat rund 123 Wohnungen. Sie wurde für die Arbeiter der Unfallversicherungsanstalt für Niederösterreich von 1900 bis 1907 nach Plänen der Architekten Theodor Bach und Leopold Simony errichtet. Die Anlage stand in den 1970er-Jahren wegen des schlechten Zustandes kurz vor dem Abbruch, wurde jedoch von der Stadt Wien erworben und von 1993 bis 1997 um über 4 Mio. Euro saniert.
