Description
English: Floods of river Lahn at Elisabethbrücke in Marburg in November 2015 with retention of water. The power of the river is respected, a newer detour trail for cycling and walking up to higher parts of the river bank in the valley.
Deutsch: Hochwasser im Fluss Lahn in Marburg unterhalb der Elisabethbrücke in Marburg im November 2015 Retentionsbereich für starke Regenfälle oder Schneeschmelze im Oberlauf am normalerweise trockenen Uferweg. Die Kräfte des Flusses werden zunehmend respektiert, eine rechts im Foto ansteigende Rampe vom Uferweg unter der Brücke hoch zu trockeneren, höhergelegenen Teilen im Tal zwischen Marburg und Gießen neu gepflastert um eine Umleitungs- und Ausweichroute für den Radverkehr zu schaffen und eine durchgehende Nord-Süd-Verbindung am Lahnufer herzustellen. In Blickrichtung nach Süden ist der Uferweg zu diesem Zeitpunkt überschwemmt, für leichteres Hochwasser wurde der Weg im weiteren Verlauf am Ende des gut sichtbaren Wegs ein wenig verschwenkt, eine Drehbrücke über einen alten Flussarm gebaut (Hinweistafel zur gesperrten Drehbrücke links des Uferwegs im Bild).
