Floating Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) proposed by Geyser Force

Summary[edit]

Description
English: The figure illustrates a 14-unit plant under construction used to convert heat from the ocean into electricity. The pressure vessels are 76 meters in diameter and will eventually stand 2,200 meters tall. Only the top 50 meters will extend above the water. A facility of this size is predicted to replace 2 large nuclear power plants (4 GW). The technology is currently patent pending by Philip Maise
