Title
Flint fabricator from Warter
Description
English: Pale Cloudy Grey Flint

Fabricator, as identified by finder. Elongated biconvex finger-shaped tool shaped by hard hammer working. The object tapers towards a thinner curved end, with casually executed flake removal at the mid point affording a grip for the thumb; the other end is flat, at a recent break. The upper and lower convex surfaces are lightly smoothed, probably by wear during use, though other flaking at the edges represents post-depositional damage. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2100-1500 BC.

Length: 86mm, Width: 25.5mm, Thickness: 20mm, Weight: 53.56gms.
