Summary[edit]

Description
English: The position and velocity of a satellite in orbit about a central body. The velocity is depicted with its transversal and radial component, the flight path angle phi and true anomaly nu are mentioned. p is the semiparameter, a the semimajor axis and b the semiminor axis of the ellipse. This illustrates the Kepler laws and the solution of the Two-body problem.
