Description Spc. Randall Rothermel, gun truck driver and a native of Abilene, Texas, and Spc. Kenneth Jones, Jr., a gunner and a native of Fort Worth, Texas, clean and inspect weapons prior to mission. Routine weapon cleaning and maintenance is critical to mission success. Soldiers do not fire their weapons on a daily basis, but they must ensure the weapons are always in top condition and ready for use when necessary.
