Description NEWPORT, R.I. (Sept. 22, 2010) Chief Aviation Structural Mechanic Adam Bowie, a recruit division commander and facilitator for the High Ropes Course at Officer Training Command, shows a class from Officer Candidate School how to properly attach the lobster claws of two safety lanyards to cables on the 39-foot high course. High Ropes is part of Officer Candidate School training and is designed to instill confidence, communication and teamwork in future Navy officers. Officer candidates must complete the course before graduating from OCS and being commissioned. (U.S. Navy photo by Scott A. Thornbloom/Released)
