| Description |
English: This baby dove took over the whole nest, preventing the parents from creating the 2nd of 3-4 yearly broods. They build their nest for in the same place each year. Doves mate for life. While the mother nests, father stays & watches nearby. When the mother leaves for food he sits on the nest. They take turns feeding the hatchlings, no more than three at a time usually two. |
