| Description |
English: Flagpole on Gunwharf Quays I lost count of the number of attempts which I had to produce this shot. I was flat on my back, inside a small tented area, using the tent to keep the sun out of the camera lens. In many images, a tiny piece of tent pole was visible, in other "good" shots, the light breeze failed and the flags were hanging limply. At least I was happy with this shot!
I would hope that someone might be able to advise the significance of the flags. Here is a link showing the early history of Gunwharf Quays: http://www.gunwharfquays.co.uk/index.cfm?articleid=24 |
